On Tuesday 12 February a group of students from St Piers School visited Canterbury Christ Church University to talk about their plans for the future.
On Monday 11th February 2013 the students in school celebrated Chinese New Year through an event in the hall. The students learnt about the traditional ways of celebrating Chinese New Year decorated the hall with Chinese Lanterns, Spring Couplets and Snake themed artwork as 2013 is the Year of the Snake.
We've really enjoyed the recent snowy weather and its inspired one of our students to write a short poem about it.
St Piers School were incredibly lucky to have a visit from a band called ‘City Bells’, an amazing band made up of four saxophonists.
Greg has always loved all sport but particularly football and Manchester United. Football training started on a Monday night in the sports hall at school last term with a professional coach and Greg was determined he must attend!
