East Grinstead’s Abbie Hunnisett is the UK and European parasport F32 Club Throwing Champion. She has had a fantastic year and recently won bronze in Doha at the IPC Athletics World Championships.
When Abbie is not training or competing she gives presentations to inspire others to take up sport and shares how lottery funding helps athletes like herself succeed at World Championships and ultimately the Paralympic games in Rio later this year.
Abbie gave a truly inspirational presentation which the students enjoyed and held a Q&A session in Basden Art Room.
We wish her the best of luck for Rio 2016 where she has a great chance at winning gold! Thank you Abbie for inspiring our students.
