Superheroes of St Piers: Supporting Children in Need!

At St Piers School & College, we believe in making a difference while having fun—and this Children in Need day was no exception! The leadership team, staff, and students transformed into superheroes for the day, donning colourful capes, masks, and iconic costumes to spread joy and support a great cause.

The whole school and college were buzzing with excitement as everyone got involved in the celebrations. Students embraced the superhero theme with their own creative costumes, showing off their style and personality. From glittery capes to handmade masks, their enthusiasm added an extra layer of magic to the day.

Beyond the costumes, the event was packed with fun activities for everyone to enjoy. The day kicked off with vibrant discos where students showed off their best moves and danced to their favourite tunes. The energy was infectious, and the disco lights created a truly festive atmosphere.

Adding to the excitement was a bake sale featuring delicious treats made by staff, students, and families. From cupcakes and brownies to biscuits and more, the bake sale was a huge success, with all proceeds going to Children in Need. It was heart-warming to see the community come together to support such an important cause, one bite at a time.

Children in Need is a cause close to our hearts. Every year, it reminds us of the importance of supporting children and young people across the UK. This year, with the theme of "Every Penny Counts", we were proud to do our part. The funds raised from the bake sale, discos, and donations will help make a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who took part—whether by dressing up, dancing, baking, or donating. Your efforts and enthusiasm truly embody the spirit of St Piers: community, inclusion, and positivity.

Here’s to many more days of fun, connection, and giving back. Because at St Piers, we’re not just educators or students—we’re superheroes in our own unique ways, making a real impact for those around us.
