Staff at Young Epilepsy St Piers School and College are raising funds for a wheelchair accessible boat for students on campus.
The team of seven, Scott, Olly, Alex, Marcus, Aldo, Murray and Ross will attempt to paddle three of the longest lakes in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours. The challenge will start in Scotland where they will paddle loch Awe (25miles), then drive to the lake district to paddle lake Windemere (11 miles) then onto the last stage to complete Llyn Tegid (7 miles) in Wales.
The Wheelyboat will enable, include and facilitate Young Epilepsy St Piers students in accessing a fully vibrant “boating experience”.
