Young Epilepsy has teamed up with The Wheelyboat Trust to host a ‘Swim the Lake’ challenge at the local Weir Wood Reservoir in Forest Row, near East Grinstead.
The 4km challenge is in aid of the Wheelyboat Project, who provides disabled people with independent access to waterborne activities. This project will provide 180 of our students at St Piers School and College a Coulam Wheelyboat V20.
This will enable our students the freedom and sensory delights the water can bring as the boats are being specifically adapted for disabled people. The boat will be the first step for students to experience exhilarating power boating.
So if you consider yourself a good swimmer, why not take part in this unique event for our students!
