Class 13’s undertook a mini enterprise fundraising project making soaps and chocolates as part of our joint decoration and design and emergency services topics this term.
We have been learning about the RNLI and used our school tuck shop to sell and take orders for delivery of our products. We would like to thank everyone who bought our lovely soaps and chocolates as we made a profit of £35 to donate to the worthwhile cause.
We visited the RNLI station in Shoreham on the 13 March 2013. Our visit was wonderful and we were given a tour of the two lifeboats and explored some of the equipment that the RNLI volunteers use during rescues. We presented our cheque to them after our tour of the station.
